How to check DNS SRV records for Federation, Edge and Exchange

• Just search the “cmd” in the search box.

• Open it.

• Type “nslookup”, and then press ENTER.

• It’ll connect to a dns server.

• To connect to google dns server, type “server 8.8.8.8” and press enter.

• It’ll then be connected to googles dns server.

• Type “set type=al” and press enter.

• Type “_sipfederationtls._tcp.communicationsquare.com”.

• Entering the above command will give the SRV records of Communication Square federation.

• For different federation just change the domain.

• For Edge the following command will be used.
